Hapi Chap Goh Mei (元宵节)

Chinese New Year, which falls on Jan 26th this year, is the most important celebration for Chinese people all over the world. Chinese New Year starts with the New Moon on the first day of the new year and ends on the full moon, 15 days later. The 15th day of Chinese New Year is the Lantern Festival ( or Chap Goh Mei).


Chap Goh Mei is celebrated on the last day of the Chinese New Year. It is regarded as a night of courtship with lanterns lit up through the night, this time all the family members sit together and enjoy the foods and drink for Chap Goh Mei dinner.

Selamat menyambut Chap Goh Mei buat teman-teman saya yg berbangsa cina, saat ini lah kita bersama keluarga tercinta duduk bersama dan menikmati setiap hidangan yg dihidangkan bagi meraihkan hari yg ke-15 hari penutupan bagi sambutan tahun baru cina utk tahun 2009.
